SEDONA, Ariz. (July 7, 2009): Come one - come all to the Volunteer's Summer Barbeque and Pot Luck at the Sedona Arts Center. All Arts Center Volunteers (past - present - future), plus friends and family are invited to join us on Friday, July 24th at 5:30 for fun, food, and festivities!
The Arts Center will serve soft drinks, chips, hamburgers and hot dogs, prepared by Head Grill Master, our own Bob Myers, and his able assistants. Everything else is potluck, which means the dinner will be a surprising and delicious adventure. If your last name begins with W-Z or A-D, please bring a side dish such as baked beans, scalloped potatoes, pasta salad or use your imagination. If your name begins with E-M, please bring a green salad, veggie plate, fruit plate or any derivative thereof. If your name begins with N-V, please bring a dessert of your choice! Each potluck dish should serve eight people.
There will be lots of food, Texas Hold 'em tables (with someone to coach you through the basics if you are new at the game), Pictionary, Scrabble, a Paint Splash and more! Feel free to bring your own favorite game.
This is an old-fashioned summer night event - an evening of fun to spend with friends - held in honor of the Arts Center's wonderful volunteers. It is our way of saying thank you!
