SEDONA, AZ (July 11, 2009) - As the City of Sedona considers a draft ordinance that would permit Accessory Dwelling Units on properties zoned single family residential, Patrick Barber (HappyHandyman.net) visited IKEA in Tempe with Sedona Housing Commissioner, Karen von Merveldt-Guevara, as she took a tour of two floor plan designs as part of her investigation into whether the proposed ADU sizes are adequate (see video below). The first floor plan they toured was 748 square feet, at the larger end of what the city would allow, and the second 376 square feet design is at the smaller end of the size allowance.
